In light of the recent developing news centered on our typhoon-ravaged Philippines, many of our members have been inquiring about specific ways our church can be involved in the worldwide relief efforts. As we are painfully aware, the catastrophic typhoon has killed up to 10,000 Filipinos in Tacloban City and left nearly 600,000 displaced without basic survival necessities such as food, water, clothing, and proper shelter. Though the worldwide response has been overwhelming, our church must also do its part in helping our fellow Filipinos during this time of rebuilding. For this reason, we will be collecting a special offering this Sunday, November 17th, that will be used to help the victims of the typhoon. Donation receipts will be available for all donors, even those willing to give outside of our church community. But more than that, our church will also be collecting canned goods and basic summer wear to be sent for children and adults alike. These donations can be dropped off in the church during regular office hours. We ask that such items be placed inside bags to keep the clothes organized before they are properly sorted, packaged, and sent. During this time of great need, let us all continue to pray for the victims and their families as well as the agencies ministering to these individuals.
For those that prefer Paypal we offer that familiar and convenient option.
Additionally if you prefer you may mail your donation to Bible Church International's main campus at 791 Rt10E, Randolph, NJ 07869. Be sure to include your name, address and mark TYPHOON RELIEF on the check or envelope so that donation credit may be provided for tax purposes.
Thank you and may God bless you richly.
